If you are interested in helping to off-set the registration for individuals in-need, please consider contributing an amount greater than your registration cost. Any funds received that exceed your registration investment will be used to cover the registration for individuals seeking childbirth education but facing challenges with accessibility or financial hardships. Thank you so much for your kindness and paying it forward.

WHO? Classes are open to any person who is pregnant or planning to be pregnant. Your investment covers the cost of registration for the participant and one support person to join in attendance. In the event that someone does not have a partner or support person to join them for class and would like one, I will be happy to arrange for them to have an individual join them as their support throughout the class series. Please contact me in advance if you need that arranged. Classes are open to all bodies, people of all backgrounds, and welcoming all differences of birth preferences.

WHAT? These childbirth education and preparatory classes help pregnant people and their partners prepare for their labor, birth, and postpartum experience by providing unbiased evidence-based information. I take an inclusive and whole-person approach that dives into what happens with birthing bodies physically during the labor, birth, and postpartum journey but also discuss the emotional shifts that may be experienced. We will explore your rights and options available to you at all stages of your journey. This series of group classes gives participants an opportunity to engage and connect with others also venturing into parenthood and/or expanding their families. Topics include (but are not limited to) your rights as a childbearing person, anatomy/physiology, fetal positioning during pregnancy and labor, progression of labor stages and signs, comfort measures for coping, how partners can help the laboring person, options available to those planning a homebirth, options available to those birthing at the hospital, and much more!
